College Preacher Says Women 'deserve Rape' For Wearing Yoga Pants (video)

National Mirror

I believe that if she was at home, and if she had kept to her Orthodox Jewishness, that rape would really probably would not have happened, added Saxton. One street preacher said, 'You know, if you dress like it, you act like it, different things like that, youre asking for it.' Therefore, you deserve rape. And his last three words I felt like were nice, and I decided to put them on a sign, and go to the event. I believe there are certain qualities that may be worthy of rape, claimed Saxton. If a woman dresses proactively, gets blackout drunk, and is wearing really revealing clothing, then I would say that she is partially responsible for the rape. However, Saxton failed to cite any Bible verses to back up his bizarre claim that women should be raped because of their clothing.

Furthermore, there are more important things to preach against such as murder, adultery, hatred, unforgiveness, stealing, lying. These are far more important than whether a woman wears trousers or not. A woman who is filled with the Holy Spirit will know what to wear without being told. The Bible did not mention anything about trousers. When you look at it today, there are womens trousers and mens trousers in the market.

Furniture, women's apparel the objects of Ohio State grads' affection - The Lantern

Credit: Leah Alexander / For The Lantern Four years on, two Ohio State alumni with roots in architecture and interior design are still in the business of decorating the home. Throughout her time at OSU, Chelsea Cabot studied interior design. During her fourth year, she worked on the interior design team for a healthcare architecture firm but wasnt sure if she wanted to continue on that path after graduation, which was in spring 2010. Kristopher Konieczko graduated from OSU with a degree in architecture in the spring of 2007 and was working on his masters degree in architecture when he met Cabot. Cabot was working as the head of interiors while Konieczko worked as the head of the architecture team for OSUs solar decathlon team, which aimed to design and build cost-effective solar-powered houses, when they developed a relationship and began thinking of their future together, both in terms of their relationship and their career plans. At the time, Konieczko and Cabot were both working for an architecture firm in Columbus but were both unsure of their futures there. I thought I wanted to do architecture, but once I started, I didnt, Konieczko said. With Cabots graduation coming up, they had to quickly come up with a plan. That is when the idea of Objects was born.
